2011

April 8 - Pyramid Club Comedy Gig-  a blast, I killed, great audience.  Thank you to MC & Producer Crystal Ward and her wonderful assistant Patrice.....a real great evening, my longest comedy set.  Pure fun. 

April 7 - Crossed the Ts and dotted all the I's on my set for the Pyramid Comedy gig.  Worked on my set list all afternoon.

April 6 - Commercial audition at House Casting.  One of my favorite top 10 places to audition.  Sheer professionalism there.

March 31 - Did my taxes with my tax man, I wanted to make sure my money made it to Iraq on time :P 

March 30 - Feature film audition.  Called in by Brette Goldstein one of my favorite Casting Directors.  She loves actors and it is always a pleasure to work with her.

March 26-27  rehearsals then filming on March 27 of THE COMEDY AWARDS at Manhattan Center, West 34 Street.  I met Alec Baldwin and he gave me a wink and a "break a leg" as he exited stage and I took the stage from the wings of the theater with my fellow choir cast.  I was playing the role of the singing businessman.

March 24 - Cast by Barbara McNamara without an audition!  Via phone call, for THE COMEDY AWARDS show.

March 23 - Cast in a professional comedy gig by Crystal Ward, MC extraordinaire!  The Pyramid Lounge.

March 21 - Comedic Commercial audition at Donald Case Casting.  Fun!

March 17 - Supported fellow actor Kathleen Boddington at her play PLASTIC PEOPLE.  Awesome show and cast.

March 15 - Meet and greet with Casting Director Sheryl Baker Fisher.

March 11 - Audition for a feature film at Warwicke.

March 10 - Entire day spent working on my marketing strategy and working on my comedy files. 

March 9- Print audition - Aresu Photography a.m., then my very first on Broadway audition at Telsey Casting.  For the Broadway premiere of THE NORMAL HEART.  It was a great experience and the casting director gave me a great note despite not booking.  I can't wait to see this great play by Larry Kramer, award winning playwright and writer.

March 3 - Audition for a TV pilot.  I had to Improv which I love.  
 
March 1 - EPA audition.  Great reading, I enjoyed it, feeling very good at these auditions, making bold choices.

February 28- I went to the premiere of Elana Mugdan's film "To Live For".  Excellent film, great audience and Q&A afterwards.  This was at a swanky place, The Grand Hotel in TriBeca.  Great bar!

February 27 - Private party!  Lisa Gold's Oscar Party at The Gossip Bar and Grill in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen area.  I introduced the Oscar telecast and did my original Oscar humor about the nominees.  I killed, the audience loved it, met some amazing actors, directors, producers and agents.  Great event.  Lisa Gold is one of my favorite show biz personalities in NYC.  She is the owner of Act Outside the Box.  Highly recommend it. 

February 23 - Commercial audition at One on One Studios.  I love this studio, it is very professional.  Great amenities, great staff.  This was for a resort.

February 10 & 11 - I was hired by Heather Comer of C&G casting to stand in for principal actor Titus Welliver.  I have also body doubled before for Mr. Welliver.  Long first day filming but second day was a quick wrap! 

February 3 - Netflix Spec Commercial film shoot - This is a contest, best entry wins

January 18 - Kevin Kuffa, CD for Law & Order CI audition 

January 17 - Cast in a Spec Commercial !

January 14, 15 & 16 - COMPUBOTS, our Equity Showcase plays at The Producer's Club, NYC.  We had great audiences, the second night it was sold out and they added 2 rows of seats!  Great laughter, applause, and fun, thanks to all who came.  We thank you!

2010

December 21 - Table read and rehearsals start for Compubots!

December 14 - Cast in Paul Trupia's play COMPUBOTS, it will be an Equity Showcase, I was cast in the male lead, a comedy! 

December 13 - A Very Jagger Christmas Party at The Producer's Club, what a great event, thousands of dollars in toys collected by our acting community at CnC (Casting and Classes) for kids

December 7-8  Collaborated with my editor Tony Grocki for my reel

December 6 - Audition at Beth Melsky

October 26 - Worked on the TV show Blue Bloods in Greenpoint Brooklyn, then an audition at Liz Lewis Casting

October 22 - Onion Sports Network AFTRA shoot, Hempstead NY, I play a cop, airs Spring 2011 on Comedy
Central.

October 19 - Lisa Gold Agent Seminar, NYC 

October 18 - Booked an AFTRA role as a NYPD police officer on the ONION NEWS SPORTS NETWORK, films October 20th. 

October 11 - I attended the new member reception at ACTORS' EQUITY, met some new friends and ran into a couple old ones

October 8 - KEVIN & NATASHA opens at The Producer's Club.  The play, a dark comedy with a surprise ending is met with terrific applause.  I had a great time with my character.  I received my first AEA waiver to do this play which was an AEA showcase.

September 20 - Indie film audition for role of a therapist, fun reading!

September 16 - Table reading, first rehearsal for KEVIN & NATASHA, a new dark comedy play I was cast in by NY Playwright Le Wilhelm.  He wrote the play for me and my scene partner Tatiana.

September 15 - Training, I went to Jagger Kaye's Legit film/TV seminar with CD David Vaccari.   

September 13 - Film audition, Men in Black 3

September 9 - I joined Actor's Equity Association!  This is one of the proudest days of my life as an actor. 

August 31 - Worked a 16 hour day on the set of CBS television's THE GOOD WIFE.  Was a body double for actor Titus Welliver in a scene with Chris Noth (aka Mr. Big, Sex and the City).  It was a pleasure to work on this show and learned a lot about body doubling.

August 30 - Cast as the Body Double for principal actor Titus Welliver on THE GOOD WIFE.  You may also recall Mr. Welliver from LOST (Man in Black) and DEADWOOD.

August 25 - Out of state audition, Foxwoods Casino, Connecticut.

August 17 - We reached the semi finals in the 18th annual Strawberry Play Festival !

August 14 - Opened as the lead at The Theater at St. Clements in Paul Trupia's DAYDREAMS.  Thanks to our director Becky Copley and my wonderful cast.  This is the same theater Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Ralph Waite and Faye Dunaway started at in the 1960s.

July 26 - Launch Party for the 18th Annual Strawberry Off Broadway Play festival.  I went with the playwright of our play DAYDREAMS Paul Trupia, we were interviewed and publicity shots were taken.

June 28 - Table read for Paul Trupia's whimsical musical dance comedy DAYDREAMS.  Loved meeting my fellow actors Barbara Miluski-Lambert, Frankie Gonzalez, and Katy O'Donnell.

June 26 - Wrapped in Kazy Tauginas' indie film SALVATION ROAD.  I played a businessman who gets it!

June 19 - Had the pleasure of seeing my colleague Meagan Robar in her amazing role in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING.  She lit up the stage as usual.  Great time, great cast!

June 17 - General audition at The Ed Sullivan Theater for AFTRA's Open Door castings.

June 9 - Gwynn Gillis Branding Seminar.

June 8 - Clay Smith Commercial Class at Castings & Classes with Jagger Kaye.

May 27 - Wrapped in Scott Goldberg's indie film MR. MULLEN. 

May 23 - Had the honor of being directed by Emmy winning director Gary Donatelli (One Life to Live) in a screen test for a feature film with Deirdre Brennan.  The morning was cloudy during filming and I got a great compliment from Mr. Donatelli who called me an adept actor.  I took some notes from him but I adjusted well.  Great day!

May 20 - AFTRA Open Door Lottery.

May 17 - Filmed on the last episode of Law & Order (Prime), 20 seasons in NYC!  I played a news reporter.  I got some great screen time, very featured.

May 13-16  Filmed in Philadelphia in a short comedy film, FOXY LADY.  Made new friends, and the shoot was a blast.      

April 28 - Filmed at Steiner Studios in Astoria, Queens, NYC for the FX channel TV show LIGHTS OUT with Holt McCallany.  It was a press conference scene, I played a boxing executive.  Stacy Keach plays Holt's dad.  Long day but great experience.

April 27 - Filmed in Chelsea, Manhattan for White Collar, I played a campaign manager.

April 23 - Filmed down by the World Trade Center site, an episode of RESCUE ME, with Dennis Leary.  Short day, but as an AFTRA actor made great money!

April 22 - Filmed in midtown Manhattan on THE GOOD WIFE, with Chris Noth and Julianne Margulies.  Interior shooting in a pizza restaurant.

April 19 - Started collaboration with Tony Grocki on getting my reel done!

April 15 - Attended OUT OF THE BLUE comedy showcase to support my fellow actors from THE ACTOR'S PROJECT NYC at The National Comedy Theater, theater district.  Great show!  Bolted to wrap my role in Simon Mueller's film FATALIS that same night....long day, but great.

April 13 - Filmed on 5th Avenue in the Japanese feature film HANAMIZUKI, as myself.

April 8 - Went to a book signing at Barnes & Noble and met one of my comedy heroes, Carol Burnett.

April 1 - Filmed at lower Manhattan Law & Order SVU, detective role.

March 28 - Polished some stand up material at Ed Tyll's room at The Broadway Comedy Club.

March 22 - Hands on camera technique with LA film & TV coach Tim Phillips.

March 21 - Tim Phillips lecture on TV and Film audition technique, Shetler Studios, NYC.

March 20 - Agent Fest both commercial and legit with The Network, 10 agents from each.

March 17 - Spent St Patrick's studying with one of my favorite show biz gurus, Jagger Kaye.  Commercial Intensive.

March 11 - Claire Traeger Law & Order intensive via Paul Michael's The Network

September 22-24   Filmed interiors for Martin Menzel's thriller VANISHING.

September 17 - Attended Bobby Holder's ACTING CAREER SEMINAR with TAPNYC.

August 31 - The TAPNYC Monologue Challenge. 

August 26 - This evening I had the pleasure to donate my comedy talent to Jimmy Q's A CAUSE TO LAUGH, a superb charity raising monies against childhood cancer.  This was at the Broadway Comedy Club, we had a great audience.   I wrote especially for this show and I killed for 10 minutes!  Thanks to Jimmy Q and our headliner Walli Collins, also to Kathleen Boddington who organized this and raised monies for this great cause.   
 
August 13-23  Performed at THE PRODUCERS CLUB in the full length play by Oscar Wilde, A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE.  I played the role of Lord Alfred.  This was a spectacular experience, play directed by Kymm Zuckert of Love Creek Productions and the costumes from the TDF collection were amazing.  I will never forget the applause that could be heard from the hallway were we waited for out curtain calls.

July 22 - Filmed my ACTOR SLATE with Stanley Zuckerman at NY's Chelsea Studios.  Stanley loves actors, he made the whole experience great.

July 16 - Performed Stand up for a benefit, THE CAUSE TO LAUGH with MC's Jimmy Q and Richard Shultis at Limerick House, NYC.

June 30 - Filmed in Martin Scorcese's pilot BOARDWALK EMPIRE.  White Plains, NY.  Graduation scene.

June 24 - Filmed in Martin Scorcese's pilot BOARDWALK EMPIRE.  I was picked out by Mr. Scorcese himself out of about 80 extras and was promoted to featured and had a scene with principal actor Michael Pitt.  Pilot premieres September 19, 2010.  My role, federal agent, fedora and all.

June 11 - LOVE AND LAUGHTER showcase, at the Abingdon Theater, NYC.

June 7 - Filmed in Bayonne, NJ  Nick Taylor's feature film PARADISE EAST.

May 30 - Travel to Philadelphia to see premiere of the film, SMILE, of which I was the lead.  Great festival, spent the weekend in Philly.

May 28 - NYC - Filmed all day, TEA CEREMONY, lead role, directed by Yong Pil Choi.

May 17 - NYC - Filmed all morning, Wall Street NYC in Martin Menzel's WALL STREET CHICKEN.

April 27 - IFC Theater, NYC, I attended the Columbia University Film Festival.  Saw the film I was in as a boardroom executive, THE MAN WHO WASN'T.  The festival was amazing, the films really high quality.

April 21 - I attended the Actor's Project NYC Acting Career Seminar hosted by Artistic Director Bobby Holder.  The panel was agent Genevieve Brewer, Business Manager Ingrid French and Life Coach and distinguished actor Sonia Satra.  Wonderful evening, learned a lot about branding from Ms. French in my panel discussion with her.

April 14-19  Filmed THE PROJECT at Welwyn Preserve in Glen Cove with Scott Goldberg.

April 3-8  Philadelphia, PA filmed in the comedy short film SMILE, I played the protagonist Dr. Gabriel Baine.

March 6 - Filmed footage in Glen Cove, LI. THE PROJECT.

February 20 - TAPNYC SHOWCASE!  Performed at The Abingdon Theater Main Stage.

February 17 - Filmed MY NEIGHBOR 2, directed by Yong Pil Choi.

February 11 - Filmed in Greenpoint Brooklyn on the NBC TV show, KINGS.  I played a dignitary.  Met McCauly Culkin.

January 17-18  Filmed RUMORS, NY Film Academy, NYC.

January 6 - MC'd at the HA Comedy Club in Times Square, I also did a set.

January 3 - Filmed TRUTH BE TOLD, by Max Sitnikov, written by Eugene Golant.  Filmed in West Village, cold day!  exteriors, great shoot.  I played part of a crazed street preacher.

2008

December 17 - Wrote a one act play RESIDUE, a drama.

December 8 - Walt Vail's HERO WORSHIP opens at The Algonquin Theater in NYC.  I play the role of Jimmy French.  Directed by Nina Capone, with Eric Talon and Sheila Spagnoli and Ms. Capone also as one of the actors.

October 2 - Filmed my first episode with The Onions News Network.  Played an executive of a failed bullet company.  Very campy, great shoot, near Wall Street.

September 16 - Filmed on the FX channel TV show DAMAGES at The Bull & Bear restaurant, at The Waldorf Hotel.  Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden was in my scene.  Quite a day, lots of actors everywhere. 

August 11 - Performed in the play HAUNTED by Dean Bevan, directed by Matt Fitzgerald.  This was at the Algonquin Theater in NYC.  Mr. Bevan came all the way from Kansas to see us rehearse.  It was a new experience for me to rehearse in front of the author but thankfully he was thrilled with the work.  We were too.   

May 18 - My Off Off Broadway debut !  The American Theater of Actors, the Beckman Theater, in the play ONE DEAD WOMAN'S MEMORY.  Directed by Nina Capone.

April 15 - Celebrated Income tax day at THE COMIC STRIP, did some financial comedy.

April 13 - Auditioned for an was accepted into LOVE CREEK PRODUCTIONS, an Off Off Broadway theater.

April 5 - Performed at The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, in Tim Kelly's THE BUTLER DID IT.  A comedy in two acts.  I played the part of Rick Carlyle, the Upper East Sider deluxe.  What made it ironic is I am an Upper East Sider.  Working on the deluxe part.

March 31 - Started training in Improv with renown Improv teacher John Monteith at HB Studio.  Mr. Monteith is the only actor to have a long running show on Broadway!

March 24 - Filmed with singer Nell Bryden in her music video SECOND TIME AROUND.  This was at the Pistol Bar near Rivington Street, SOHO.  What a fun night.

March 9 - Filmed at Hicksville, LI for a CW Post student film, THE EXCHANGE.  I played a homeless vet.  I didn't shower or shave for 4 days.  It worked, during a break in filming a man coming into the gas station gave me 8 quarters.  I was stunned.  The next day I passed on these quarters to a homeless man I saw in Manhattan.

February 24 - Filmed at Lowe Library, Columbia University in that school's student film, THE MAN WHO WASN'T.  I played a board room executive.  Met and worked with two amazing actors George Pappas and Marjorie Ocho-Kouns.

February 14 - Celebrated Valentine's Day by reading poetry at the little theater at my acting school, HB.  The audience loved my poem about the blind man and the boy.

February 9 - My first paid acting gig!  A music video with Sheryl Crowe, for her hit single, NOW THAT YOUR GONE.  Regrettably, in post production ALL the extras were cut from the video. LOL.  I still have the $50 bill in my safe deposit box marked "first $ as an actor." 

2007

December 20 - Filmed TIMELESS LOVE for Kyle Shim, in Old Tappan, NJ.  Played role of a game show host.

September 9 - Filmed OVERHEARD IN NYC, a comedy short, for director Justin Dillard.  Piece written by Gus Sacks.  This was a comedy with many vignettes.  Little did I know this would be the first film credit to hit THE INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE, IMDB.

August 27 - Interviewed on film by Roy Campolongo for his documentary on THE TRIANGLE SHIRTWAIST FIRE TRAGEDY, since the 100th anniversary is approaching.  This was very emotional for me as I was asked how I prepared for my role as a fireman in light of the World Trade Center recent disaster.  I answered one can't imagine the scope of such a thing.

April 27 - Attended my first ever screening of a film I was in.  This was at the Director's Guild of America theater on West 57th Street in Manhattan for Lisa Tuvalo's BEHIND LOCKED DOORS: THE TRIANGLE SHIRTWAIST FACTORY FIRE.  Lisa looked wonderful with her bouquet of roses at the end of the festival!

2006

November 29 - Cameo role in a very bizarre short comedy MY BROTHER'S KEEPER, we filmed at DON'T TELL MAMA'S CABARET.

November 27 - Filmed in a City College Student film in Brooklyn.  No lines, my big moment came when in the restaurant my character made a gesture for the check to the waiter, lol. 

November 6 - Filmed exteriors for Lisa Tuvalo's School of Visual Arts film, BEHIND LOCKED DOORS : THE TRIANGLE SHIRTWAIST FIRE.  It was very cold but everyone looked amazing, I was a fireman, and in the period costume of 1911. 

October 29 - Audition at the School of Visual Arts, met Lisa Tuvalo.  Cast!
